Frequently Asked Questions
Of the 10 tournaments throughout the season, 8 of these will be a draw format. All draw format tournaments will be single day tournaments. The remaining 2 tournaments will consist of a 2 day format as well as you will select your fishing partner to fish with for both days. Each tournament boat will consist of 1 "Angler" & 1 "Co-Angler." Although the entire field competes equally against each other throughout each tournament, your seasonal standings will only compare to other anglers of your same status. At the end of the season, the fishermen with the most points in their respective division will become the Angler & Co-Angler of the Year.
The winner of each tournament will receive 50 points. 2nd place will receive 49 points, whereas 3rd will receive 48pts, etc. Any fisherman participating in the tournament but not weighing in any fish, will receive 1 point less than the last person weighing fish. These totals will be added together and will determine the Angler & Co-Angler of the Year. As we realize that not everyone will be able to fish every tournament, your lowest 2 tournament scores will be dropped and your best 8 will make your final score.
Each Tournament will Pay at least 3 places and Big Fish. There are also numberous awards that can be obtained throughout the year.
The Tournament of Champions is our club's season ending "Classic." To qualify to fish in the TOC, you may fish 7 of the 10 regular season tournaments or be in the Top 10 in Angler/Co-Angler Points. The location the tournament is fished will be determined the morning of by a draw system consisting of lakes submitted by each angler that has qualified to fish. The TOC will be a 1 day tournament.
